IFE FOODAPEST Exhibition opened

IFE FOODAPEST Exhibition is an important event for Hungarian food industry –
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development state-secretary Zoltán Gőgös pointed out in his speech opening the international event.

He said that the atmosphere was optimistic at the first exhibition last year. Food industry expected the forthcoming period to be successful. However several unexpected difficulties hindered the economy and the industry. This means new challanges for the food industry too.
He added that the industry has nothing to feel ashamed of. It has developed a lot int he last few years and tried to meet the great challanges of the world.

We should run ahead, since only developments can enhance the industry. Zoltán Gőgös encoureged every player of the market to try to give new answers to the problems and learn from one another at domestic and international level. IFE FOODAPEST is an excellent occasion for that, Zoltán Gőgös said.

IFE FOODAPEST 2008

As Hungary’s only business to business exhibition for the food, drink and hospitality industry, the event attracted over 10,000 visitors and more than 200 exhibitors from around the world.
